- The Spectrum Set consists of a carafe and two cups that were created from weeks of research, experimentation and glaze testing. This design is made with loving energy and takes about 3 weeks to make a batch, where the ceramic undergoes a tedious process of being thrown on the potter's wheel using a textured speckled grey clay body, bisque fired, glazed, and glaze-fired. All details including the cascading glazes, variations in hues, spots and drips are unique to each piece.
